"Daddy Has A Monster In His Belly." How Do You Explain Cancer To A Child?

Stanley sat down with his little one to have a conversation no parent should ever have to have. He didn't use the word cancer. He called it a monster.

"So you know how Daddy went to the doctors and they were looking at the monster? The medicine isn't working. The monster's getting bigger."
